We offer many forms of functional laboratory testing from independent external laboratories if advisable. We can review the results of your laboratory tests which facilitates the creation of an even more personalised and targeted nutritional and life-style plan. Some of these tests include the following: Full thyroid assessment, Advanced iron profile, Food intolerances, Vitamins and minerals levels, Oxidative stress profile, Blood sugar profile, Adrenal stress profile, Stool analysis (e.g. digestive enzyme markers, gut microbiota, intestinal permeability and measurement of inflammation), and Metabolic assessment. A test will typically involve a blood (e.g. finger prick blood sample or venous withdrawal), breath, saliva, urine or stool sample. The majority of samples can be taken at home but occasionally a phlebotomist visit might be required. Costings range from as low as £30 but can reach as much as £500 or more depending on the nature of the test.
